Are you an experienced IT Governance professional with a passion for risk, compliance, and audit coordination? We're working with a fast-growing, award-winning financial services platform that is expanding its Information Security function - and they're now looking to bring on board a Senior IT Governance Analyst to play a key role in strengthening internal controls and supporting IT audit readiness.


About the Role:
In this senior position, you'll take full ownership of internal and external IT audit activity across the technology function. You'll be the point of contact for auditors, manage responses, coordinate internal stakeholders, and ensure timely resolution of findings. This is a high-visibility role, offering the chance to work alongside leadership, risk, and technical teams to embed a strong governance culture.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Maintain and update IT risk assessments and internal controls documentation.
  • Provide expert challenge and guidance on control design, remediation, and effectiveness.
  • Support audit planning, delivery, and follow-up - including reviewing draft findings and overseeing resolution.
  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Risk team on IT risk frameworks and assurance planning.
  • Lead and report on IT governance activity through forums and action boards.
  • Oversee compliance metrics (KRI/KCI/KPI) and provide strategic input on improving control maturity.



What You'll Bring:



  • Solid understanding of IT governance frameworks and standards (, ITIL, COBIT, NIST, ISO27001, SOC2, GDPR, UKSOX).
  • Strong background in IT controls, audit liaison, and risk assurance.
  • Confident stakeholder management and the ability to influence across multiple teams.
  • Proactive approach to identifying risks and driving remediation.
  • Clear, concise communicator with excellent attention to detail and reporting skills.
