Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and proactive IT Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of strategic technology initiatives within a large engineering context. You will lead cross-functional teams, ensuring projects meet timelines, budgets, and objectives, and align with broader business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Manage full lifecycle delivery of IT projects-from initiation to closure.

Create comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, and align resource provisioning.

Coordinate internal teams and external partners/vendors to ensure smooth operations.

Identify, monitor, and resolve risks, issues, and interdependencies promptly.

Provide clear and regular updates on project progress, key milestones, and deliverables to stakeholders.

Ensure adherence to governance, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.

Support change management and drive user adoption across the organisation.

Assist in refining and improving project delivery processes and methodologies.

Required Skills & Experience

Demonstrated experience in IT project management (ideally 3+ years).

Solid understanding of mainstream project management frameworks.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Proven track record managing budgets, timelines, and vendor performance.

Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Trello, or similar).

Aptitude for juggling multiple initiatives in a fast-moving environment.

Experience developing and overseeing implementation of projects with broad impact across the organisation.

Professional certification in project management (e.g., APM PMQ) is a plus.

Desirable Attributes

Background in infrastructure, cybersecurity, ERP, or software development projects.

Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
