Job Title: IT Engineer

Location: Maidenhead predominantly with some travel to London, Southeast and Midlands.

The Role:
We are seeking a skilled IT Engineer to become a vital part of our clients growing team. In this role, you will provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for a diverse range of IT systems and equipment. You will primarily be based at their Head Office but will also travel to various project sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct pre-site surveys to assess connectivity and network requirements.
Collaborate with project teams to understand IT package specifications.
Oversee the procurement and preparation of necessary IT equipment.
Test equipment and software applications during installation setups.
Supervise the installation of IT infrastructure, including cabling and equipment setup.
Provide training to construction site staff on installed equipment and offer ongoing support.
Manage incidents escalated from the helpdesk and liaise with internal teams.
Maintain optimal availability of IT resources and ensure security compliance.
Assist in the administration of Microsoft 365 and deployment of applications.
Maintain documentation and contribute to the development of best practices.
Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment as an IT Service Engineer or similar role.
Strong analytical skills in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Experience in configuring and managing network devices, including routers and switches.
Familiarity with cloud services and understanding of cybersecurity principles.
Project management skills to effectively delegate tasks and monitor progress.
Relevant certifications: CompTIA A+, CompTIA N+, Microsoft Certification.
Full clean UK driving license and enhanced DBS check.Why Join Us?
