We areseeking an exceptional data protection expert to play key role inour growing Information Protection team, as an IT Data ProtectionSecurity Engineer.      You will be part of agrowing team, providing world class Security Engineering,Architecture and Operations, driving and supporting improvementsglobally to our Information Protection Portfolio.    You will be:  * Engaging collaboratively withapplication development, data protection, information security, andrisk management teams to understand and implement data securitysolutions.   * Supporting vendor assessments, includingproof of concepts & security technologies research  *Continuously improving data protection services based on input froma diverse network of internal and external stakeholders, technologyteams and security industry at large  * Creating andmaintaining technical service roadmaps for our data protectionservices  * Contributing to both architectural and operationaleffectiveness of the Secure Data team.  *YOU’RE GOOD AT ** Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English isrequired; command of additional languages will be considered aplus  * You can successfully interface and connect withskilled technologists and non-technical stakeholders, includingmembers of the C-suite  * Ability to work in an Agileenvironment leveraging strong work management, organizational andplanning skills  * You have an ability to work wellindependently, as well as part of a geographically dispersed teambringing a sense of urgency to the tasks at hand  * Must havewell-honed and credible influencing skills including the ability tonegotiate and gain consensus between involved parties wherecompeting priorities exist  * You’re able to effectivelyhandle difficult and stressful situations with poise, tact andpatience, while demonstrating a sense of urgency.  What You'llBring * Minimum 8+ years of data loss solutions and/or securityengineering experience with large scale globally distributedimplementations   * Extensive experience in data-at-restand data-in-transit, data security techniques andmethodologies   * Experience of using relevant DLP toolssuch as Symantec DLP, Zscaler CASB, MS Purview & similar * Experience in managing DLP IM Management and have goodunderstanding of end-to-end IM processes  * Experience ofworking with MS Defender and Intune.  * Experience of usingrelevant IRM/Data Classification/Data Discovery tools  *Extensive experience in a globally distributed environment spanningmultiple platforms such as AWS, Azure and GCP  * Experience ofcloud security techniques in a DevSecOps and agile workingenvironment  * Experience in understanding and capturingrequirements, continuously improve and develop technical policiesand processes  * Experience leading and mentoring fellow teammembers, across internal and vendor teams.  Desirable  *Familiarity with Secrets Management and/or Certificate LifecycleManagement   * Familiarity with cryptographic keymanagement, PKI lifecycle management  * Familiarity with CloudSecurity Posture Management & Cloud Workload Protection  *Understanding of CI/CD pipelines  * Understanding ofinfrastructure as a code and concepts  * Understanding ofsystems configuration orchestration  * Related securitycertifications (e.g. CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, SABSA, ITIL etc.) WhoYou'll Work With You will be part of a diverse and dynamic team ofprotection specialists located across Europe, Asia, and theAmericas, working in a highly collaborative environment withlike-minded colleagues Boston Consulting Group is an EqualOpportunity Employer.
