We are currently looking for an (Maternity Cover)Interim Sales Managerto join our team.

Reporting to the Head of Sales for eCargo Services you will be accountable for acquiring, growing, and maintaining multiple accounts across CHAMP’s product portfolio within the assigned territory.


Position Type:Fix-term (12 months)

Location:Frankfurt (Germany)


Responsibilities:

  • Directing and managing all existing sales and account management initiatives for CHAMP´s eCargo products in the assigned territory.
  • Identifying prospects, generating and qualifying sales leads.
  • Support in building up and reporting a sustainable sales pipeline to achieve revenue objectives.
  • Contributing to meeting the business goals and to achieving annual sales targets in the assigned market.
  • Support in the proper handling of contracts.
  • Maintaining CRM system informative and updated.
  • Responsible for preparing, submitting and on-going maintenance of business cases for review and approval.
  • Accountable for the business case life cycle to ensure profitable contribution of accounts.
  • Providing customers and prospects with high value proposals, presentations on the business benefits, own contract negotiations and subsequent account management.
  • Closely monitoring execution and implementation of relevant products or services.
  • Develop and establish customer relations and actively manage multiple accounts. The account management function includes close cooperation across business functions to deliver CHAMP’s contractual commitments and constant exchange with other product lines.
  • Autonomously identifying cross-and-up selling opportunities.
  • Manage multiple internal stakeholders, including Product Management, Project Management, Development and Service Desk to ensure qualified resources. Conduct regular meetings with key stakeholders to review service performance whilst ensuring profitability of the account.
  • Maximization of revenues by timely and accurate billing & debt management.
  • Participate in events and forums to showcase the CHAMP suite of products and services, prospect for new leads, keep up to date with industry trends and gather market information.



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Track record of meeting/over-achieving revenue targets
  • Pro-activity in sales lead generation
  • Experience in bid management, business case generation, negotiation, and presentation
  • Team player
  • Self-starter
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing environments
  • Strong communicator, service oriented, solution oriented and delivery focused person
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written); further languages are beneficial
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with all customer’s organizational levels
  • High level of proficiency in current versions of IT applications e.g. Microsoft Office, CRM and forecasting tools.



Education and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience working within the Air Cargo Transport Industry or IT services vendor
  • Proven experience of successful sales and customer relationship management
  • Experience in air cargo industry or logistics business domain is beneficial



The selected candidate may be subject to the provision of an up-to-date (not older than 3 months) criminal record certificate.
