Location: UK (Remote)
Length: 12 months
Rate: £39.42 p/h (Inside IR35)
Hours: 9am-6pm

Job Overview:

Our client is looking for a Security Analyst with experience in Access Management. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulations, maintaining security controls, and supporting IAM (Identity and Access Management) activities. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of information security and can apply that knowledge to solve large-scale problems.

Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Understand the security needs of internal teams, auditors, and regulators
  • Support compliance with regulations like SOX, SOC2, PCI, and ISO27001
  • Review and test IAM security controls
  • Help identify, implement, and maintain automated security controls for compliance
  • Provide Tier 1 support for the access compliance function
  • Assist with daily policy, compliance, and risk management operations
  • Understand how to technically implement access management and security controls
  • Communicate security and compliance policies to internal teams
  • Help develop new security standards and policies, and update existing ones
  • Ensure smooth handover of project deliverables to support and operations teams


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in access management, data analysis, or information security
  • Experience with user provisioning and access management
  • Knowledge of information security concepts and their application at scale
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once



Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Economics, Physics, or a similar field
  • Strong desire to learn and improve technical skills
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (SQL, PHP, Python) and web development
  • Certifications like CISSP, CISA, or CISM are a plus
  • Interest in emerging technologies
  • Independent, self-motivated, and able to handle ambiguity
  • Proactive in driving process improvements and managing change
