Recruiting on behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced Information Governance Manager to take on a key leadership role at Croydon Healthcare Services. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking NHS Trust and play a pivotal role in delivering robust information governance across the organisation.

Key Requirements:

Recent NHS experience is essential.
Extensive knowledge and experience with the NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit.
Strong expertise in Data Protection (DPA 2018) and Freedom of Information (FOI) legislation.

Role Overview:

Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), the postholder will:
Act as the Trust’s lead for Information Governance.
Provide expert guidance across the Trust on IG compliance and best practice.
Lead on FOI and Environmental Information Regulations.
Manage and support the IG Officer, including line management responsibilities.
Act as the first point of contact for IG-related queries and complaints.
Ensure all IG requests and statutory obligations are met within appropriate timeframes and standards.
Deputise for the CISO where required, contributing to Trust-wide IG strategy and delivery.

Can manage sensitive requests, regulatory requirements, and evolving NHS frameworks.
