Job Title: Head of IT

Location: Worcester

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, mentor, and lead a team of 15-20 IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.

  • Oversee IT infrastructure, including VMware and Wintel systems, Fortinet networking, Azure cloud environments, Postgres and SQL databases, and Dell EMC Power store storage solutions.

  • Implement and uphold ITIL service management frameworks, ensuring optimal performance and service delivery.

  • Guide the deployment and maintenance of legal-specific systems, including Case Management and Practice Management solutions.

  • Strengthen cybersecurity practices and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks within a legal setting.

  • Effectively prioritise and manage multiple initiatives, delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines.

    Preferred Candidate Profile:

    We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in professional services, ideally with experience in a legal environment. The ideal individual will possess:

  • Extensive knowledge and technical expertise in IT infrastructure and systems as listed above.

  • Proficiency in ITIL service management frameworks and a proven ability to drive service excellence.

  • A keen understanding of the unique technological needs of the legal industry.

  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to thrive under pressure.
