Location:Northwest (Ideally based between Manchester and Liverpool, and Warrington to Preston)
Job Type:Full-Time
Salary:£36,000 £38,000 per year

We are looking for an experiencedFire & Security Engineerto join a tier 1 client of ours within the fire and security space. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in fire alarm systems and a solid working knowledge of security systems, including Access Control, CCTV, and Intruder Alarms.

This role involves a balance of installation and maintenance work, completed in line with the latest industry standards and regulatory requirements. You will also play a valuable role in supporting our sales team with technical insights on fire and security systems.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their technical ability and provides excellent customer service. You should feel confident working independently as well as collaborating within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and commission fire and security systems to British Standards

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance in accordance with BS5839 and NSI Gold standards

  • Provide technical support to the sales team where required

  • Participate in the out-of-hours callout rota

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years experience in fire alarm systems

  • Solid knowledge of Access Control, CCTV, and Intruder Alarm systems

  • Strong technical and fault-finding skills

  • Good communication and customer service skills

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Based within a reasonable distance of the Northwest corridor (Manchester Liverpool Warrington Preston)

Desirable (but not essential):

  • IPAF Certification

  • ECS Card

  • EAL Level 3 Award in BS 5839-1:2017
