Amalgamated is one of the leading providers in the fire and security industry in the United Kingdom. We offer a range of services including the design, supply, installation, commission, service, and maintenance of alarm systems throughout the United Kingdom.
About the Fire & Security Engineer role
Due to continued expansion, we are looking for Fire & Security Engineers to join our team covering both commercial and domestic properties in the Northwest area.
As a Fire & Security Engineer you will be involved in the servicing, maintenance and installation of fire alarms and security systems. Knowledge in fire, security, and warden/nurse call.
Please note we can only accept candidates who have the Right To Work in the UK
Key Responsibilities for Fire & Security Engineer include (but not limited to)
* Carry out planned and fault diagnostic work to various Fire and Security systems.
* To carry out PPMs on Intruder, Fire, EML, Access Control and CCTV.
* To carry out small works/installs when required.
* To carry out commissioning of all systems when required.
* Participation on the out of hours call out rota on a rotational basis. Circa 1 in 3
* Maintain a safe working environment for yourself, and others at all times.
* Ability to work effectively on your own or as part of team to ensure we meet our client contract expectations.
