The Role

As a Life Safety & Security Systems Engineer, you will:

  • Service, maintain, and repair fire safety and emergency lighting systems.
  • Work closely with clients to ensure compliance and deliver exceptional service.
  • Use the latest technology to manage documentation and provide accurate fault diagnoses.
  • Act as a mentor to junior team members and apprentices, sharing your expertise.


You’ll also enjoy variety in your work with a mix of scheduled appointments, reactive maintenance, and small installation tasks.

Your Skills and Experience


Essential Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in fire safety systems or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards and regulations (NACOSS and BAFE).
  • Proficiency with PDAs and basic IT tools like Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • A full, clean driving license.
  • Ability to pass enhanced security screening and background checks.


Desirable:

  • Familiarity with systems like C-TEC, Gent, Advanced, and Morley (training provided for the right candidate).
