We are working with an exciting UK start-up company that champions technological innovation and are now looking for anEnterprise Architectto oversee technology scanning, technical evaluation, and experimentation. The role involves identifying and assessing new technologies for their applicability across the Defence sector and National Security.


You will be working directly with the C-suite team to deliver a real-world impact and drive meaningful change. The ideal candidate will have experience working both in a start-up and mature legacy environment, possessing a diverse industry background.


Experience and Skills:

  • Strong track record as an Enterprise Architect, with a focus on emerging technologies
  • Degree (BSc/MSc/PhD) in Engineering, Computer Science, AI, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in technology scanning, evaluation, and experimentation.
  • Understands the integration between hardware and software, with exposure to both legacy and modernized environments
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent certification is ideal
  • Relevant architectural framework certifications (e.g., TOGAF, MODAF, NATO).
  • Strong understanding of emerging technologies and their practical applications.
  • Experience collaborating with startups, scale-ups, and academic institutions.
  • Proficiency in Lean Startup methodologies and iterative development approaches.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
