In a client-facing consulting role, you will work on exciting projects that transform our client's solutions with a focus on the Microsoft Digital Identity capabilities as well as other leading market vendors ( e.g. Saviynt & One Identity). As a member of our security practice, you will work for both Avanade and Accenture clients, ranging from medium to large global enterprise clients.

Skills and experiences

  • Are experienced in consulting and advisory discussions with clients and other consulting firms.


  • Proven understanding of Active Directory and legacy authentication protocols ( LDAP, Kerberos, NTLM, etc. ) .


  • Proven understanding of Entra ID and Entra ID Domain Services (and respective scenarios) .


  • Experience with modern authentication protocols and integrating applications using those protocols.


  • Experience leading small to medium project general design and delivery (solution architecture and associated infrastructure or business and functional requirements) .


  • Understanding of the business, privacy, security, and compliance challenges surrounding Digital Identities and a passion for solving these challenges for clients.


  • Experience of privileged access management solutions and an understanding of secrets management .


About you

  • Proficiency in modern authentication protocols such as OAuth and SAML.


  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, including SSO and authentication methods.


  • Knowledge of identity management processes and high-level knowledge of tools like SailPoint and Okta.


  • Familiarity with Entra Application Provisioning and SCIM.


  • Ability to manage various types of identities using Microsoft Entra ID.


  • Skilled in automation and scripting with PowerShell and Azure tools.


  • Experience with Microsoft Graph API for custom identity workflows.


  • Understanding of basic security principles and secure coding practices.


  • Capability to develop and maintain custom code using .NET/C# or Python.


  • Knowledge of IAM lifecycle management concepts.


  • Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools like Sentinel and Defender.


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for IAM issues.


  • Good communication skills for effective teamwork and stakeholder engagement.


  • Comfortable working within agile methodologies.


What you'll do

    • Develop and implement modern authentication solutions using OAuth, SAML, ID/Access/Refresh Token, and Claim Rules Transformation.

    • Manage identities using Microsoft Entra ID, including SSO, Application proxy, Authentication methods, and Authentication Strength.

    • Oversee identity management processes such as JML/IGA, with product agnostic understanding of identity principles for various products like SailPoint, Savyint , OneIdentity , and Okta.

    • Understanding and experience with Entra Application Provisioning, including SCIM and Custom Attribute Schema.

    • Understanding and experience with Entra Identities, including members, external, and client identities.

    • Understanding and experience with Microsoft Entra ID to manage identities, conditional access, MFA, and identity governance.

    • Understanding and experience with creation and maintenance of automation scripts using PowerShell and Azure automation tools.

    • Understanding and experience with developing integrations and custom identity workflows using Microsoft Graph API.

    • Understanding and experience with basic security principles, secure coding practices, and threat mitigation strategies.

    • Understanding and experience with developing, troubleshooting, and maintaining custom code and tools, preferably using .NET/C# or Python.

    • Understanding and experience with IAM lifecycle management concepts, including provisioning and deprovisioning workflows.

    • Understanding and experience with the configuration of monitoring, logging, and alerting for IAM solutions using tools like Sentinel and Defender.

    • Understanding and experience with analysing complex IAM issues, troubleshooting, and implementing solutions.

    • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

    • Ability to work within agile methodologies, contributing to backlog items and continuous improvement.
