Location: Scotland (Central Belt)

Salary: From £64,680 plus benefits such as car allowance, pension and 38 days annual leave

Our client, a major public sector, is undergoing a major digital transformation to improve how essential public services are delivered across Scotland. They are seeking an experienced Digital Architecture Manager to lead the design of secure, integrated solutions spanning cloud, operational technology (OT), enterprise systems, and AI capabilities.

This is your opportunity to lead solution design across some of Scotland's most critical digital platforms, shaping systems that support smart infrastructure, AI-driven services, and real-time operational decision-making. Your work will have real-world impact across communities, ensuring delivering high-quality, resilient services today and into the future.

Key responsibilities:

Lead solution architecture across IT and OT environments.
Ensure alignment with digital strategy, regulatory standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Manage and mentor a team of solution architects.
Embed cybersecurity, compliance (e.g. ISO27001, NIS2), and future-ready design into all technical solutions.About you:

Proven experience in architecture leadership within complex digital programmes
Strong background in cloud platforms (ideally Azure), M365, APIs, and system integration
Deep understanding of governance, risk, and compliance in regulated/public environments
Strong stakeholder engagement and team leadership skillsWhy apply?
