Join the Close Brothers Operations and Assurance Team where you will protect the business from the impact of cyber threats.

The successful candidate will provide expert security services to the rest of Close Brothers, namely reliable and knowledgeable data loss prevention capabilities. This includes investigating and responding to data loss events and improving DLP policies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Triage DLP events generated by DLP tools, alongside the 3rd party MSSP.
  • Support the response to data breaches alongside business representatives, data owners, data protection, and other stakeholders.
  • Perform active monitoring of risky users.
  • Review and approve end user tickets associated with data loss risk, such as releasing quarantined emails.
  • Review data classification change events.
  • Maintain runbooks and standard operating procedures.
  • Produce DLP metrics and reporting commentary.
  • Support the assessment and improvement of DLP policies, raising changes to third party engineering support.
  • Work with Security Engineering and third parties to troubleshoot and resolve issues with DLP policies and platforms.

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:

  • Experience working with DLP tools and processes, such as Forcepoint and Microsoft Purview.
  • Experience working with Data Classification tools and processes
  • Proven stakeholder management and engagement skills
  • Experience of internal business consulting, controls assessment, awareness training and technical information security skills
  • Experienced in the selection and implementation of appropriate information security controls
  • Ability to work independently to fully formulate and assure plans and reports before escalation.
  • Analytical thinking to acquire understanding of an issue or fault by systematically breaking it down into its component parts and identifying the relationships therein.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE/ARE:

  • Familiar with technical controls/solutions such as: Email gateway technologies (e.g. Mimecast), Web filtering technologies (e.g. Netskope), Virtualised / cloud environments
  • Experience working in, or closely with, a security operations centre
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements concerning information security and data protection
  • Good knowledge of recognised industry frameworks for security, e.g. NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, etc.
