Key Responsibilities:

Develop clear, engaging, and persuasive communications on cybersecurity topics for executive leadership, regulatory bodies, and industry stakeholders. Craft presentations, reports, and talking points that translate technical cybersecurity concepts into business-friendly language. Collaborate closely with cybersecurity teams to gather insights and transform them into digestible, impactful content. Stay up to date on emerging cybersecurity threats and trends, ensuring our messaging reflects the latest developments and best practices. Act as a key liaison between cybersecurity teams and external stakeholders, including regulators and industry partners, ensuring messaging consistency and compliance with industry standards. Manage multiple communication projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining quality and accuracy.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, cybersecurity policy, risk management, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, cybersecurity communications, or a related field. Strong ability to translate technical cybersecurity topics into accessible, engaging, and business-relevant messaging. Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills. Experience working with executive leadership, regulatory bodies, or external stakeholders in highly regulated industries such as finance or healthcare. Ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical teams. Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines. Familiarity with cybersecurity regulations, frameworks, and standards (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001, GDPR) is a plus. Professional certifications in cybersecurity or risk management (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC) are a plus.
