Job Title: Cybersecurity Operations Engineer (full-time onsite 4 days)Job Description: A London based Investment Company is currently looking for a skilled Cybersecurity Operations Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in the field and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. The candidate will report to the Cybersecurity Lead and will support hands-on implementation of security controls, bringing a pro-active attitude to achieve an unprecedented level of security.Responsibilities: * Coordinate with the Cybersecurity lead to implement, manage, monitor, and improve security measures for the protection of the company assets. * Investigate security alerts and support incident response. * Drive security assessments to identify misconfigurations and vulnerabilities. * Daily administrative tasks, security health-check and reporting. * Help educate and inform the wider team on all things Information Security * Under the direction of the Cybersecurity Lead, research evolving threats and help implement mitigationsRequirements: * A degree in computer science, IT, or cybersecurity qualification (e.g. CISSP). * 3 years plus of cybersecurity experience, identifying threats and developing protection measures. * Great awareness of cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques. * “Technical hands-on”: proven experience of Cloud Security, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Sentinel (or equivalent SIEM), AWS, DLP and Endpoint Security. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with positive and collaborative attitude. * Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and problem-solving. * Great communication skills with a range of stakeholders * Adopt a pragmatic, risk-based approach by implementing controls that are proportional to the level of risk, rather than strictly following predefined policies.Benefits: * Annual Bonus * Employer pension contributions : 9% of basic salary * Private medical insurance: up to £2,400 p.a., and an annual health check * Life insurance and incapacity benefits (death-in service award, long-term disability insurance) * Annual leave allowance: 25 days in addition to statutory and bank holidays * Professional development support, relevant to role
