The Opportunity
We're working in close partnership with a major defence systems integrator who is delivering high-profile, mission-critical systems in support of UK national security. As part of this growing programme of work, we are looking to identify a security-cleared Cyber Security Engineer who will play a key role in protecting some of the UK's most sensitive digital environments.

This is a hybrid role with on-site requirements in Farnborough 2 to 3 days per week, offering the chance to work on a cutting-edge programme supporting critical national infrastructure.

You must be eligible for DV Clearance for this role.

The Role
You'll be joining a collaborative, high-performance technical team focused on the secure delivery and support of new IT applications and infrastructure for a sensitive government customer.
Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and executing vulnerability scanning, management, and reporting
  • Implementing and maintaining endpoint security measures, including AV/anti-malware compliance
  • Conducting system hardening and security compliance audits against frameworks like CIS, STIG, and NIST
  • Contributing to incident response, forensic investigations, and remediation activities
