Our client is a software and cloud service provider with over 40 years of experience. They help businesses move with speed and confidence – maximising opportunities and solving challenges. Their customers are mainly developers and tech-led businesses looking to scale their solutions and operate more efficiently and securely in the cloud.
As a Cyber Security Account Manager, you will be part of a dynamic sales team. This hybrid role involves developing, managing, and growing Cyber Security and Backup sales, and building strong relationships with clients, partners and the wider sales team.
What you'll be doing as a Cyber Security Account Manager

  • Managing accounts and increasing Cyber Security and Backup sales using best practices.
  • Establishing new business opportunities with targeted accounts through prospecting, networking, qualifying, and closing techniques, with a focus on Cyber Security and Backup solutions.
  • Proactively managing the sales pipeline and compiling accurate monthly reports.
  • You will be supported by the Cyber Security Solutions Specialist and their partners to learn about new Cybersecurity and Backup products to improve your knowledge and selling skills.
  • Collaborating with marketing to drive Cyber Security and Backup campaigns.
  • Providing client quotations for Cybersecurity and Backup solutions and working closely with other teams and partners to ensure world-class service.
  • Identifying and acting on upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the Cyber Security and Backup domains.
  • Using internal systems proficiently, keeping information up-to-date
  • Following up on new leads, call requests, renewals, and referrals specifically for Cybersecurity and Backup solutions.
  • Preparing documentation for licensing contracts and services, including proposals, quotes, and tenders for Cybersecurity and Backup clients.
  • Taking responsibility for resolving Cybersecurity and Backup-related issues.

    As their Cyber Security Account Manager you'll receive:
  • £26k-£30k pa salary DOE plus uncapped commission
  • Hybrid and flexible working options (two days in the office per week, once fully trained)
