Are you a Cybersecurity Engineer seeking a new opportunity to grow your career? ASL Technical are now working with a leading automotive company as they look to expand their Cybersecurity Engineering team specifically focussing on Connected Car.

Main Purpose of Connected Car Service Cybersecurity Engineer

Lead the coordination and schedule alignment with all relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with UN-R155.

Lead progress reports on Cybersecurity topics at management meetings and vehicle milestone meetings.

Understand the capability required for the future and coordinate on the number of people needed to build the team.

Lead regular communication and coordination with Legal and Compliance teams.

Lead the activity of hearing and communicating from suppliers for information required for Cybersecurity.

Lead in resolving issues related to Cybersecurity.

Lead requests for Cybersecurity requirements at the right time during system development.

Keep up to date with the latest trends and features in iOS, Android, and Cloud and consider their impact on Cybersecurity.

Establish the process of Cybersecurity implementation plan.

Responsibilities of Connected Car Service Cybersecurity Engineer

Coordinate with stakeholders to align cybersecurity processes with regulatory compliance.

Report cybersecurity progress at key meetings.

Develop team capabilities and resource planning.

Collaborate with Legal and Compliance for cybersecurity policies.

Manage supplier communication for cybersecurity-related data.

Troubleshoot and resolve cybersecurity issues.

Ensure timely cybersecurity requirement requests during system development.

Stay updated on mobile and cloud technology trends affecting cybersecurity.

Develop and implement cybersecurity plans and processes.

Experience / Knowledge for the Connected Car Service Cybersecurity Engineer

Engineering or Computer Science Degree qualified.

Minimum 2 years of experience in Cybersecurity Management Systems (CSMS).

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable Skills:

Knowledge of vehicle electrical and electronic architecture.

Business-level Japanese communication skills.

Other Details of Connected Car Service Cybersecurity Engineer

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Ability to travel for business trips (up to two weeks).

Must comply with company health and safety guidelines.

Successful candidates can expect to receive the following in addition to the advertised rate:
