The role

As a Computer Science Teacher, you will teach across Key Stages 3 to 5, delivering engaging, practical, and forward-looking lessons that equip students with essential digital literacy and coding skills. You’ll have the chance to inspire students through topics like programming, data structures, algorithms, cybersecurity, and AI.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum
• Foster a passion for computing through innovative and interactive teaching methods
• Track and assess student progress, supporting individual learning needs
• Contribute to the development of the Computer Science department
• Participate in enrichment activities such as coding clubs, competitions, and tech-focused events

Ideal candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Computer Science or related subject
• Experienced in teaching KS3–KS5 or a strong ECT with a passion for the subject
• A creative and enthusiastic educator with a strong understanding of curriculum and pedagogy
• Committed to student progress and professional development
