Job Description:As a Contract Cloud Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security solutions for our cloud environment. You will work closely with our IT and development teams to ensure the security and compliance of our cloud-based systems.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months
• Day Rate: £400 - £500 per day
• Potential for contract extension based on performance and project needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud security solutions.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts.
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans.
• Develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure application deployment.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Security Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices and tools.
• Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate) are a plus.
