We are seeking a skilled and proactiveCloud Security Engineer fopr our plateform. This role will be responsible for securing our cloud infrastructure, ensuring compliance with best practices, and implementing robust cloud security controls across our environments. You will work closely with DevOps, IT, and compliance teams to protect company data and resources from threats and vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud security architecture for cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

  • Identify and mitigate cloud-based security vulnerabilities and threats through automation and proactive monitoring.

  • Define and enforce security policies and best practices for cloud usage across the organization.

  • Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and risk analysis on cloud-based systems.

  • Collaborate with DevOps to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).

  • Manage identity and access controls (IAM) to enforce least privilege principles.

  • Respond to security incidents and lead root cause analysis for cloud-related security breaches.

  • Stay current with the latest cloud security trends, threats, and technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity with at least 2 years focused on cloud security.

  • Hands-on experience with one or more cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, and security controls.

  • Experience with cloud-native security tools (e.g., AWS GuardDuty, Azure Security Center, GCP Security Command Center).

  • Knowledge of compliance standards like SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, or NIST.

  • Strong scripting or programming skills (e.g., Python, Bash, Terraform, CloudFormation).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cloud security certifications such as:

    • AWS Certified Security Specialty

    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate

    • Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer

    • (ISC)² CCSP or CISSP
