The role of Cloud Security Consultant is responsible for continually assessing the posture and maturity of cloud security, designing, and championing security solutions / opportunities. Identifying areas for efficiency improvement and proactively own and drive through topletion opportunities for automation.

It supports the execution of capabilities aligned to their cloud security vision to support strategic business objectives at an enterprise level, enabling HSBC to make robust strategic and operational decisions in relation to business and cyber security requirements.

In this role you will:

Contribute to the implementation & development of Wiz CNAPP tool in terms of: -

Automation,ernance and business analysis. Rmending configuration changes to improve the effectiveness, performance, usability, and value of cloud security assessment tool. Utilise CNAPP capabilities to monitor real-time threats, misconfigurations, runtime risks while developing tailored dashboards and reports to trackpliance and controls effectiveness Work cross-functional, for continuous improvement of security posture through data-driven Wiz insights and reporting


Contribute to workstreams relating to Cloud Security Assessments, Security scoring initiatives, cloud security controls and baselines Liaise with Cloud platform engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to understand and drive best practice aligned to HSBC's mandatory controls Drive continuous improvement of cloud security assessments and automated processes to minimize variation and ensure predictable high-quality code and data. Collaborate with cloud security SMEs across multiple pods
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

Hands-on experience with CNAPP platform, including Wiz capabilities and features for designing solutions is mandatory Solid understanding of cloud security principles,pliance frameworks (ex. CIS, NIST) and cloud native risk management practices Hands on experience in any one or more Cloud platforms - Alibaba Cloud, AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform. Cyber Security experience covering a large asset estate, preferably hosted in cloud. Experience ensuring cloud projects meetpany policies and security standards.
This role is based in Sheffield.
