Who are Saepio?


Saepio are a Cyber Security Solutions Provider that work with UK based corporate customers with between 100-10,000 users. We help them to protect their employees, data, users, applications, and systems from being the victims of cyber-attack.

As the cyber threat landscape continues to evolve, Saepio is growing rapidly to meet the increasing demand for top-notch cybersecurity solutions. To support our growth, we are recruiting a Cloud Security Architect to join our Solutions Team.

As a Cloud Security Architect, you'll need intimate knowledge of the security solutions market and able to make tailored recommendations to customers based on their risks.

As an NCSC Assured Service Provider that partners with UK organisations to reduce cyber risk and drive security improvement, the solutions architecture team are trusted advisors to Saepio customers, helping integrate security improvements into their business objectives. They also build close relationships with Saepio’s vendor and service partners to ensure the best cyber resilience outcomes for customers.


What will you be doing?


  • Championing Saepio - highlight to prospective clients how as a service provider, Saepio can become their trusted advisor
  • Help our clients modernize their architecture and core technologies
  • Contributing to the refinement of technical requirements
  • Designing and implementing secure, scalable, and innovative solutions to meet client's requirements
  • Consult on best engineering practices, quality standards and principles
  • Architecting cloud security solutions to help address client risks through a combination of people, technology and process enhancements
  • Running security briefing sessions, technical reviews and workshops to ensure Saepio have the best understanding of our clients needs
  • You will be analysing and implementing configuration changes and assisting in the design of cloud related solutions to meet both functional and technical requirements
  • Building out a digital native security practice within the Saepio solutions team with potential for managerial responsibilities in the future


Who are we looking for?


  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in consulting, presales or solutions architecture, with core competencies in cloud security across AWS, Azure and GCP
  • Extensive working knowledge of Cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Excellent communication skills verbal & written in English. To be able to communicate with IT teams and departments, end users and customers
  • Vast experience in developing associated business cases and plans which are detailed, actionable and aligned with industry best practices
  • Ability to solve complex technical problems and accomplish tasks with minimal supervision
  • Experience supporting career & knowledge development for engineers early in their career
  • Ability to support project team to prioritize activities and provide deliverables as planned
  • Security qualifications and at least certified Solutions Architect qualification across one of the hyperscalers (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, Google Solutions Architect) are strongly preferred
  • Be relentlessly passionate about client satisfaction and willing to go the extra mile
  • Have a passion for understanding our clients’ businesses and what makes them successful
  • Highly motivated to continue to learn in a constantly evolving industry
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Be highly organised, especially with good time management
  • A team player – you'll be working alongside every part of the Saepio team to get the best outcomes for customers


Desirable experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering
  • Industry vendor certifications are desired (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP or CNCF/Kubernetes certifications); although not essential if you have demonstrable ability
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining solutions in GCP or AWS or Azure
  • Excellent knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Azure DevOps / GitLab
  • Strong background in Linux/UNIX administration (e.g. RedHat/CentOS 7/Alpine Linux)
  • Familiar with developing and deploying Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Azure Bicep or Terraform
  • Familiar with containers (Openshift, Kubernetes, Docker etc.)
  • Knowledge of one or more scripting languages (Bash, Powershell, Python)
  • Knowledge of cloud monitoring and alerting services and capabilities
  • Knowledge of cloud security solutions, cloud native or CNAPP
  • Knowledge of security frameworks, such as SOC2, ISO27001, or equivalent
