Our client is a well-regarded and respected cybersecurity company with 37 elite solution partners and a host of industry accolades, they ensure that your business is protected by the best in the field.

Working closely with a partner they bring AI-driven cybersecurity innovations to protect against the most sophisticated threats.

With a strong foothold in various parts of the world and due to demand, they have started a UK division recently and are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team.

The role:

As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for chasing down leads to increase UK customer base.

You’re not expected to be an expert in their services straight away—you’ll begin by shadowing senior sales manager, working closely with them up to help close leads that you’ve developed through different channel.

Day to day, this is what you’ll be doing:

  • Identify new accounts and qualify new outbound and inbound sales opportunities.

  • Engage with potential customers via face to face meetings, phone, personalized emails, LinkedIn and video conferencing.

  • Develop, test and iterate outbound campaigns to drive new sales opportunities.

  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects.

  • Keep detailed notes of activities and ensure data cleanliness in their systems.

    This is what you’ll need:

  • Ambition to be part of growing the business in the UK and developing your career

  • Experience in building a pipeline by qualifying leads and developing opportunities.

  • Prior BDR/SDR / Sales Executive or Sales manager experience within cybersecurity is highly desirable.

  • Self-driven and resilient; demonstrates initiative in seeking out new opportunities.

  • Successful track record in meeting and exceeding goals.

  • Excellent communication skills, able to engage with prospects and customers and get them interested

  • Ability to easily understand and pitch new services, focusing on value prop.

  • An interest in cybersecurity and an eagerness to learn.

  • Intellectual curiosity, including a strong educational background (a degree in a relevant field would be very useful)
