We are looking for a BMS Project design engineer with experience in working in the healthcare sector who has strong technical knowledge and experience of Tridium and/or Schneider software to be part of the project delivery team on our Monkland's hospital redevelopment scheme in the Airdrie, Lanarkshire area.  You'll be working collaboratively with clients, designers and the wider construction team to develop the BMS and EPMS specifications to deliver a fully commissioned system. Drawing on your expertise with Triduum Jace and Schneider products, design and validate the software and graphical solutions encompassing both electrical and mechanical plant in a complex critical environment. 

 

Some of the control schemes you'll work on:

  • Complex Air Plant and Conditioning Solutions
  • Resilient Chilled Water Systems
  • Fire/Smoke Systems
  • Redundant IT Systems encompassing IoT Cybersecurity and Database
  • High Voltage and Low Voltage Systems Incorporating Diesel Generators, Switchboards, Uninterruptable Power Supplies
  • Power Quality and Metering Applications
  • Lighting
  • Security

 

What skills & qualifications are we looking for?

  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualifications (full electrical apprenticeship or equivalent)
  • Proven track record of delivering BMS on Data Centre Projects
  • Experience working with open protocols
  • Ability to understand and adapt system software and graphics
  • Experience with EPS preferred but not necessary
  • Knowledge of energy management and power quality systems
