Much of this is grounded inour work with the region's vibrant digital sector. Research in thedepartment is distributed across five main themes: - MachineIntelligence - Data Science - Smart Infrastructure & CyberSecurity - Human‐Centred Computing - Computational Modelling RoleYou will be a passionate academic with an excellent andaccelerating profile in research and knowledge exchange. You willprovide academic leadership in curriculum and research developmentand act as a role model and mentor to earn career academics withinthe department. We are looking for candidates with expertise in oneof the following areas: - Cryptography, quantum encryption, orsecure quantum communications - OT(Operational Technology) security/ ICS (Industrial Control System) security - Trust, identity orprivacy Ideal Candidate - We are seeking applicants who haveexpertise in the field of Cyber Security either through academicresearch or professional practice. - You will have in-depthknowledge of current Cyber Security tools and techniques. - Youwill be expected to have higher education level teaching ormentoring experience in Cyber Security - Have a PhD in ComputerScience or a related discipline or have the equivalent industrialexperience in Cyber Security. - You will be a strong collegiateteam player with the ability to impassion and motivatestudent/staff communities through your contributions, collaborationand co-creation.
