Senior Software Engineer

Location:London, Cheltenham and Cheltenham


Salary -£60,000 - £90,000 + excellent benefits + bonus

Clearance - Active eDV security clearance required

As aSenior Software Engineer, you'll design, develop, and maintain critical infrastructure that powers essential services. You'll tackle complex challenges, work with cutting-edge technology, and contribute to solutions that have real-world impact.

What You'll Do:

  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while contributing to peer reviews
  • Design software features that align with product roadmaps and explain design choices
  • Break down large development tasks into manageable Agile sprints
  • Set up and maintain Continuous Integration & Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Demo your work to internal and external stakeholders

What You Bring:

  • Strong hands-on experience withJava, JavaScript, or Python
  • Understanding ofCloud-based architectures (AWS or Azure)
  • Experience withDevOps & automation tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, OpenShift, or Kubernetes.
  • Proven experience in designing, developing & deploying scalable backend systems.
  • Knowledge ofdatabase technologies such as SQL, Elasticsearch, or MongoDB
