Based in Luton, this role is 45 hours per week working 7.30am to 4.30pm.

The salary range on offer is £40,260 - £50,096 + 10% bonus + pension + 33 days hols (inc bank hols) + Sick pay scheme + large company benefits catalogue

It is ideal that you hold either COTC / WAMITAB Certification or have worked in Waste & willing to undertake these whilst working with us & we will support you in this

What will I be doing?

This is your chance to support and guide the activities at our sites that help manage the recycling and recovery of waste collected across the area.
Under your guidance and leadership, the sites will run like clockwork, with you supporting the management of the daily activities for both operations and our teams performing at their very best.
To succeed, you’ll need to monitor budgets; maximise revenue; see that machinery’s maintained; and make sure that safety and compliance are paramount.
Much depends on your ability to establish a best practice mentality where people are motivated and excellence is the goal, in everything from customer service to profitability.

What are the requirements?

This senior post calls for a proven track record in a similar role, managing a waste treatment / production facility or similar production orientated site before, having led and inspired teams.
Underpinning your experience will, ideally, be a COTC qualification in Treatment and an IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
A NEBOSH general certificate would be even better, but isn’t essential, as any required training will be provided. More important is an eye for detail, efficiency and the drive to complete every task to the highest standard.
You’ll combine this with commercial acumen, Microsoft Word and Excel skills, and a friendly, approachable manner.
