Role: Senior Network Engineer - (F5,Palo Alto, SD-Wan)

Location: UK, Remote

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000

We are working with a company that are internationally recognised in what they do and are helping millions of people around the world live a better life.

They are looking to add a Network Engineer to their global infrastructure team,to support, maintain, and evolve their global enterprise network. Working closely with architects and cross-functional teams, you'll help deliver seamless connectivity that powers the digital health platforms and global operations.

To be considered for this position you will need to have 6 plus years' experience of working in a similar position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operations & Support: Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain network hardware, software, and connections to ensure optimal performance.
  • Implementation: Configure and deploy switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers in line with architecture standards.
  • Collaboration: Work with architects, security, and cloud teams to implement integrated, secure, and scalable solutions.
  • Optimization: Identify and resolve network bottlenecks, enhance efficiency, and ensure high availability.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed network diagrams, runbooks, and configuration standards.
  • Security & Compliance: Support enforcement of security protocols, patch management, and compliance with global frameworks.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current on emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to network design and operations.

Essential Experience/Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in network administration or engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of routing, switching, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with firewalls, load balancers, and monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS)
  • Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Problem-solving mindset with strong communication skills and collaborative approach.
