Overview

We're looking for aSenior Cyber Security & Network Analyst to join a high-performing IT function responsible for protecting and supporting a complex enterprise environment.

This is ahands-on, hybrid role combiningcyber security operations, security engineering, and networkinfrastructure ownership. You'll play a key part in safeguarding systems, responding to threats, and driving continuous improvements across the organisation's security posture.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leadday-to-day cyber security operations, ensuring systems remain protected and resilient
  • Monitor and respond to threats viaSIEM tools, investigating incidents and implementing fixes
  • Manage and optimisenext-generation firewalls (Palo Alto) and endpoint security platforms
  • Overseevulnerability management and patching (e.g. Qualys)
  • Maintain and supportnetwork infrastructure (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, load balancing, connectivity)
  • Analyse security data toidentify risks, threats, and vulnerabilities
  • Deliversecurity-focused projects, including new tool implementation and enhancements
  • Supportsecurity audits, access controls, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to resolve complex issues
  • Produce and maintaintechnical documentation, policies, and procedures

Key Skills & Experience

We're particularly interested in candidates with a strong mix ofsecurity + networking expertise, including:

  • Proven experience incyber security operations and engineering
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Palo Alto Firewalls (essential)
  • SIEM tools
  • Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR)
  • Vulnerability management tools (e.g. Qualys)

Solid networking knowledge:

  • L2/L3 switching (Cisco Nexus)
  • LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi (Aruba), load balancing
  • Experience managingsecurity incidents and threat response
  • Understanding ofdata security, risk management, and compliance environments
  • Exposure to working within structured or regulated environments is beneficial
