Security Consultant – Remote UK

7-month contract | Remote | Occasional attendance for events

We are looking for an experienced Security Consultant to provide security assurance across a complex enterprise technology environment, working closely with engineering, architecture, infrastructure, DevOps, risk and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

Security assessments and assurance for new systems, integrations and technology changes.

Apply Secure by Design principles and assess security risks and controls.

Manage security risks, exceptions, remediation and residual risk.

Provide assurance across IAM/PAM, Cloud Security, Network Security, penetration testing and vulnerability management.

Assess solutions against NIST CSF, ISO 27001, Zero Trust and OWASP Top 10.

Essential Experience

Security Assurance / Security Consultancy in complex enterprise environments.

Secure by Design and security risk assessments.

NIST CSF and ISO 27001.

IAM/PAM, Data Security, Cloud Security and Network Security.

Security risk, remediation and exception management.

Strong stakeholder engagement with architects, engineers and delivery teams.

Desirable

Financial Services or regulated-industry experience.

CISSP or CISM.

PCI DSS, GDPR and regulatory compliance experience.
