Ready to protect the systems that underpin the UK's most critical public services? We're hiring a Security Consultant to work on largescale digital transformation programmes across health, central government, defence, and wider public sector organisations. You'll help design secure IT solutions, manage cyber risk, and support organisations facing complex security challenges.

What you'll be doing as a Security Consultant
  • Shaping and reviewing security architecture for complex IT and digital platforms
  • Assessing cyber risks and identifying weaknesses early in the design process
  • Supporting threat modelling activities and translating findings into clear risk statements
  • Advising teams on compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and PCI-DSS
  • Working closely with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to embed security by design
  • Contributing to Agile delivery teams and supporting continuous improvement
About the Candidate

The right security consultant should have:
• A solid grounding in cybersecurity concepts and risk-based security decision-making
• Experience applying security controls across IT systems or solution designs
• Knowledge of identity and access management, privileged access, SSO, and network security
• An understanding of infrastructure and architectural design principles
• A strong interest in securing public sector systems and services
• Eligibility for SC clearance (5+ years UK residency)
