The Opportunity
We're working with an innovative technology company that is transforming the way organisations achieve and maintain cybersecurity certifications. Their platform simplifies complex compliance processes, enabling clients to achieve recognised standards faster and more efficiently.

As part of their continued growth, they're looking for a Security Compliance Specialist to support clients through their compliance and audit journeys while contributing to the development of a market-leading compliance platform.

The Role

As a trusted advisor to clients, you will help them prepare for audits, identify compliance gaps, implement best practices and successfully achieve certification.

Working closely with customers, technical teams and external audit partners, you'll play a key role in delivering a smooth and successful compliance experience. Specifically you will:

  • Guide clients through compliance and certification programmes
  • Conduct readiness assessments and identify gaps in controls, policies and documentation
  • Review risk registers, Statements of Applicability and governance documentation
  • Support clients through audit preparation, certification and ongoing compliance activities
  • Coordinate activities with external audit partners and manage audit-related communications
  • Develop guidance materials, best-practice content and client education resources
  • Collaborate with product and technical teams to enhance platform functionality and framework alignment
  • Keep up to date with evolving standards, regulations and industry best practices

The Person

With experience within Compliance, GRC, Audit, Risk or Information Security, you will be comfortable working with a range of stakeholders and possess:

  • Experience working with frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, Cyber Essentials, NIST or CIS Controls
  • Experience supporting organisations through audits or compliance assessments
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to translate technical or regulatory requirements into practical business advice
  • Knowledge of information security controls, cloud environments and governance processes
