Principal Security Architect - Security Architecture applications and documents

Up to £800 per day (Inside IR35 - Umbrella)

London / Hybrid (3 days per week on-site)

My client is a global financial services organisation that requires a Principal Security Architect with proven experience in defining, governing, and assuring secure architecture for applications undergoing transformation.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience conducting security architecture reviews, assurance and governance activities.

Strong understanding of cloud security, particularly Azure, and application migration/transformation programmes.

Experience identifying security risks, recommending remediation, and assessing compliance against security frameworks and enterprise standards.

Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge and advise architects, engineers, and senior leaders.

Strong knowledge of security frameworks, risk management, and enterprise architecture practices.

Ability to produce clear security assessments, recommendations, and governance reporting.

Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments and managing multiple concurrent reviews.
