Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester Required, in Kettering

Are you an experienced MOT Technician seeking a new opportunity within a reputable dealership? Our client, a well-established car dealership in Kettering, is currently looking for a skilled MOT Technician to join their dedicated team. This role offers a chance to work within a supportive environment with excellent development prospects.

Competitive basic salary up to £36,000

Monday to Friday working schedule with no weekend shifts

Flexible working hours (42.5 hours per week)

Conduct MOT testing in compliance with DVSA standards and regulations

Perform diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on a variety of vehicles

Carry out thorough vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues

Complete accurate job documentation and paperwork

Communicate clearly with customers regarding technical issues and work carried out

Ensure high standards of vehicle safety and performance post-serviceRequirements as an MOT Technician:

Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester

Valid MOT Tester certification

Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs

Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment

Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail

Good communication and customer service skills
