Infrastructure & IT Transformation Manager
Location: East Anglia / Hybrid with Regular UK Site Travel
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + Benefits

Reed Technology are recruiting on behalf of a growing multi-site organisation seeking a hands-on Infrastructure & IT Transformation Manager to lead infrastructure modernisation, technology standardisation, cybersecurity improvements and acquisition integration projects. Working across multiple locations, you'll partner with senior stakeholders, operational teams and third-party providers to build a secure, resilient and scalable IT environment that supports business growth. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across complex, multi-site environments and delivering meaningful technology change.

Key ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure & Technology Transformation

• Assess infrastructure, applications, networks and technology estates across multiple locations.
• Develop and deliver a standardised infrastructure roadmap.
• Lead infrastructure refresh, migration and modernisation initiatives.
• Improve system performance, scalability and resilience.

Network & Connectivity

• Lead WAN, LAN and Wi-Fi improvement programmes.
• Drive network standardisation projects.
• Work with MSPs and third-party providers to deliver infrastructure improvements.
• Resolve connectivity challenges across operational and remote locations.

Cyber Security & Resilience

• Strengthen security controls and reduce organisational risk.
• Support cybersecurity and compliance initiatives.
• Enhance backup, disaster recovery and business continuity capabilities.
• Coordinate vulnerability management and security assessments.

Acquisition & Integration Projects

• Support technical due diligence for future acquisitions.
• Assess inherited IT environments, applications and infrastructure.
• Develop repeatable integration processes.
• Deliver successful IT integration and standardisation programmes.

Supplier & Stakeholder Management

• Manage MSP and technology supplier relationships.
• Provide technical recommendations to senior leadership teams.
• Produce business cases, project updates and roadmaps.
• Act as the technical lead across infrastructure initiatives.

Skills & Experience Required

• Experience delivering infrastructure transformation across multiple sites.
• Strong networking knowledge including WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, routing and switching.
• Experience leading infrastructure refresh, migration or standardisation programmes.
• Strong supplier and MSP management experience.
• Exposure to cybersecurity improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery, backup solutions and business continuity planning.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Desirable Experience

• M&A integration experience.
• Network standardisation programme delivery.
• Experience within logistics, manufacturing, agriculture, FMCG, utilities, industrial services or construction.
• Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 experience.
• SD-WAN technologies.
• Identity & Access Management and modern infrastructure design.
• Experience within fast-growing organisations.
