IT Manager

We are working with an established and growing international organisation seeking an experiencedIT Manager to take ownership of its IT function across the UK, France, US and global sales operations.

This is a broad, hands-on role with genuine autonomy. You'll be responsible for theIT strategy, infrastructure, systems, security and projects, working closely with every area of the business and communicating directly with senior leadership, including the CEO.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and develop the IT strategy and day-to-day IT operations across multiple international locations.
• Manage and improve a predominantlyAWS-based infrastructure, including EC2, RDS, VPC and S3.
• Oversee Windows Active Directory, Azure/Entra ID, networking, cloud services and Microsoft 365/Google Workspace.
• Manage and support theSyspro ERP, including systems supporting supply-chain and warehouse operations.
• Support internal web applications and databases, includingMicrosoft SQL Server and MySQL.
• Manage code review, change control and Git/Bitbucket version control processes.
• Support the customer-facingMagento e-commerce platform.
• Take ownership of organisationalIT security and data protection.
• Lead IT projects from initiation through to completion.
• Manage the IT budget and negotiate with technology suppliers.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and user experience.
• Drive continuous improvement and explore the practical adoption ofAI and emerging technologies.

About You

We're looking for an experienced IT professional with broad technical knowledge and a proven ability to take ownership.

You'll ideally have:

• Experience as anIT Manager or similar senior IT role, preferably within a small or lean team.
• Practical experience withERP systems; Syspro would be advantageous.
• Experience managingAWS, Azure or GCP cloud infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge ofActive Directory, networking and Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace.
• Experience managing IT security across an organisation.
• Experience managing budgets, suppliers and third-party relationships.
• Proven IT project management experience.

Desirable

• Syspro/WMS experience.
• Strong SQL skills across MSSQL and MySQL.
• Git/Bitbucket experience.
• Azure/Entra ID and Google Workspace.
• Magento, PHP or web development experience.
• Experience supporting multi-country or multi-site businesses.
• Supply-chain and warehousing knowledge.
