Drive Digital Innovation and Lead on AI Strategy for a Leading Scottish Charity

Interested in working for a critical charity based in the Scottish Borders who provide important services to the community? If so, Head Resourcing are working with a charity based in the Scottish Borders who are seeking an experienced and visionary ICT and Digital Services Manager to lead the delivery of its digital transformation, ICT operations, and emerging AI strategy.

This is a pivotal leadership role where you'll shape how technology supports and enhances services across communities - driving performance, innovation, and impact at scale.

What You'll Be Doing

Strategic Leadership: Define and implement a robust ICT and digital roadmap aligned with the charity's wider organisational vision.
AI and Innovation: Champion the use of artificial intelligence and digital automation to enhance service delivery, internal efficiency, and user experience.
Infrastructure & Systems: Ensure the charity's infrastructure, business systems, and platforms are secure, modern, and fit for purpose.
People Leadership: Manage and develop a high-performing ICT & Digital Services team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Cybersecurity & Compliance: Maintain strong governance frameworks, ensuring systems meet relevant security standards and legislative requirements.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and work in partnership across the organisation to deliver strategic digital initiatives.

What We're Looking For

A proven ICT leader with significant experience in delivering technology strategy, service improvement, and digital transformation in complex environments.
Strong understanding of AI integration, digital tools, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity best practices.
Track record of managing budgets, suppliers, and multi-disciplinary teams.
Excellent communicator and strategic thinker who can influence and inspire at all levels.
Relevant qualifications or certifications (e.g. ITIL, PRINCE2, ISO27001) are desirable.
