Working for an Investment Management client in London you will perform the role of IT Governance, Risk and Resilience specialist - £60-£70k plus benefits.
**Ideal applicants will be able to demonstrate previous experience doing this role in a heavily regulated environment** and ideally financial services background. This role will involve deep stakeholder engagement / Relationship Management and working alongside an existing Resilience framework.
Role specificsThis role provides the governance, oversight, delivery and assurance needed to support the Director of IT’s responsibilities under the firm’s senior manager accountability framework. It leads and delivers IT risk governance, operational resilience and failover testing, policy ownership, and alignment with relevant standards and certifications.
BackgroundExperience in IT governance, risk management, operational resilience or information security assurance, ideally within regulated financial services.
Strong understanding of IT risk frameworks, governance structures and assurance methodologies.
Experience producing board or senior-level reporting on technology risk, resilience or information security, presenting complex technical/regulatory matters clearly for non-technical audiences.
Experience engaging with internal/external auditors or regulators, confidently managing findings through to closure.
Excellent written communication, able to produce clear, structured documentation for senior and regulatory stakeholders.
