Job title:Graduate IT & Cybersecurity Analyst 

Employment: Permanent, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Travel: UK and International Travel

Location: Commutable distance to Skelmersdale, Hybrid work

As an Associate, you will kick-start your journey into IT and Consulting which offers rewarding and fulfilling work, and where exceptional career progression can be achieved. Under the guidance of experienced mentors, you’ll receive personalised coaching and support whilst upskilling in ERP solution design, system configuration and Supply Chain Planning business processes.

This is a development role which will focus on the delivery and support within the SAP Basis, SAP Security and Internal IT/Security area.

The position has been designed to provide the necessary opportunities to build the appropriate skills to progress into either an SAP Basis/Security Consultant position or IT/Security Analyst


What you’ll be doing:

  • Provide technical support and guidance to the IT support team to ensure the resolution of all IT-related issues in a timely and effective manner.

  • Assisting with the development and maintenance of IT support procedures and policies, ensuring they are updated and aligned with best practices.

  • Assist with user provisioning and security using our identity provider (Entra).

  • Manage and monitor the organization's security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and security incident and event management systems.

  • Assist with workload analysis, system error analysis, system health checks and monitoring.

  • Begin to advise on own area of subject matter expertise to a low complexity.

  • To make suggestions and begin to develop more complex analysis, reasoning and problem-solving skills.

  • Develop a working understanding of the security, technical elements and components of SAP.

  • Supporting the application administration for SAP systems.

  • Creating and managing user profiles, roles, and authorizations in SAP.



Required Skills, Experience and Knowledge

Essential:

  • Clear and engaging presentation skills and style.

  • Excellent communicator with a great interest in a career within IT.

  • Highly organised with the ability to analyse complex information.

  • An interest in problem-solving, business analysis and software systems.


Desirable:

  • Experience in administrating databases.

  • Basic knowledge of server operating systems such as Linux and Windows and network protocols.


Qualifications

Essential:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in either: Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Physics or similar degree.

  • Full UK driving licence.


We operate a hybrid working model, which means a mixture of homeworking, office and customer site visits.Successful candidates must live within a commutable distance to our Skelmersdale, Lancashire office and expect to spend 2-3 days in the office per week. The expected start date for these roles is October 1st 2025.
