Digital Systems Lead

Kent (contractual base)

Hybrid – London client sites & remote

Minimum 12-month contract with view to permanent

Up to £70k DOE

Are you currently working with digital systems in the construction or project delivery space?

Do you enjoy improving workflows, reporting, and visibility across live projects?

Are you confident working with platforms like Procore, Power BI, or similar construction technology tools?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing Managed Services Provider supporting construction and project-based organisations, where digital systems, data, and process improvement sit at the heart of what they do.

The role

As Digital Systems Lead, you will take ownership of key operational and project delivery platforms used across live construction environments. Your focus will be on optimising digital workflows, improving data integrity, and ensuring systems genuinely support project teams on site and in the office.

You will work closely with project managers, commercial teams, site teams, and senior stakeholders to ensure technology is practical, secure, and fit for purpose.

This role is contractually based in Kent, with three days per week onsite at Central London client locations and two days remote. Occasional additional travel to Kent or other client sites may be required.

Key responsibilities

* Owning and managing core digital systems used across construction projects

* Supporting and optimising platforms such as Procore, Power BI, 1Breadcrumb, Evision, and associated tools

* Leading the implementation, configuration, and integration of new digital systems aligned to construction and project-based workflows

* Working closely with site teams, project managers, and commercial teams to digitise processes and improve visibility

* Automating reporting and improving real-time access to project and operational data

* Producing dashboards, analytics, and management reporting using Power BI

* Managing user access, permissions, and role-based security

* Ensuring systems meet cybersecurity, data protection, and best-practice standards

* Analysing system performance, data quality, and user feedback to drive continuous improvement

* Providing structured training and hands-on support to both site-based and office-based users

* Liaising with external software providers around licensing, updates, integrations, and technical issues

* Managing system licences, renewals, and associated budgets

What they are looking for

This role will suit someone with hands-on experience supporting and improving digital systems within construction, fit-out, engineering, or project-led environments.

You will ideally have:

* Experience managing construction or project delivery platforms (for example Procore, Power BI, 1Breadcrumb, Evision, or similar)

* A strong understanding of construction project lifecycles and live site environments

* Experience integrating systems and improving workflows across projects

* Confidence supporting both technical and non-technical users

* Experience delivering training that drives real adoption

* A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

Skills & approach

* Strong technical and analytical capability

* Able to translate operational challenges into practical digital solutions

* Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels, from site operatives to senior management

* Highly organised and able to manage multiple systems and priorities

* Commercially aware, with an understanding of how data supports decision-making

Key systems & environment

* Construction project and document management platforms

* ERP and commercial management systems

* Power BI for reporting and dashboards

* Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and collaboration tools

Where to Advertise Cyber Security Jobs in the UK (2026 Guide)

Advertising cyber security jobs in the UK requires a different approach to most technical hiring. The candidate pool is small, heavily vetted and in high demand across government, financial services, critical national infrastructure and the private sector simultaneously. Many of the strongest candidates hold active security clearances, are not actively job-searching through general platforms, and move primarily through specialist networks and trusted referrals. General job boards reach a broad audience but lack the specificity that security professionals expect. Specialist platforms, government-affiliated channels and cleared candidate networks each serve a different part of the market. This guide, published by CybersecurityJobs.tech, covers where to advertise cyber security roles in the UK in 2026, how the main platforms compare, what employers should expect to pay, and what the data says about hiring across different role types.

As organisations across the UK continue to digitise their operations, protect sensitive data, and defend against increasingly sophisticated threats, the need for ethical hackers has grown dramatically. If you are considering a career in this field—or looking to advance within it—it is essential to understand what employers are really looking for in 2026. This guide breaks down the current expectations, required skills, certifications, and practical experience that can help you stand out in a competitive job market.
