How you’ll spend your day

As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and evolving development and deployment processes across a mix of on-premise and cloud-based environments.

You’ll be responsible for:

* Designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps and Octopus

* Supporting and enhancing Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability

* Maintaining and optimising Microsoft Power Platform environments

* Monitoring system performance and proactively identifying improvements

* Investigating and resolving production incidents, ensuring minimal disruption

* Embedding a security-first approach, implementing best practices across all environments

* Collaborating with development and technical teams to streamline delivery processes

* Ensuring environments are up to date, stable, and aligned with best practices

What you’ll bring to this role

We’re looking for a proactive DevOps Engineer with strong experience across Microsoft and Azure ecosystems, alongside a passion for continuous improvement.

You’ll bring:

* Proven experience in a DevOps role within Microsoft/Azure environments

* Hands-on experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Octopus or similar)

* Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices

* Experience with version control systems such as Git

* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and cross-team collaboration

* Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate

Nice to have:

* Experience with Azure configuration and infrastructure management

* Familiarity with PowerShell, C#, or scripting/automation tools

* Experience with databases (e.g. SQL Server)

* Exposure to automation/configuration tools (e.g. Ansible, Chef)

* Experience integrating with REST APIs and working with Dataverse

You’ll also demonstrate:

* Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking

* The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively

* Excellent communication and collaboration skills

* A proactive, self-driven mindset with a focus on continuous learning

* A professional and ethical approach, with a strong focus on delivering quality outcomes
