Cyber Security Project Manager - £500 p/day – 6 month contract – Investment Bank
 
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and delivery-focused Project Manager to lead and support key Cyber Security initiatives for a Tier 1 Investment Bank based in Central London. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in strengthening security, driving the rollout of critical technologies such as SIEM and Endpoint Security, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal risk frameworks.
 
Role Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end delivery of cyber security projects across multiple workstreams.
Ensure alignment with financial services regulations, internal controls, and governance standards.
Oversee project scope, planning, budgets, and resourcing.
Coordinate with internal teams (IT, Risk, Audit) and external vendors to ensure successful delivery.
Maintain documentation including RAID logs, governance packs, and regular status updates.
Support testing, validation, and deployment of security solutions. 
Essential Skills & Experience

3–4 years of project management experience, ideally within financial services or other regulated industries.
Proven track record delivering cyber security projects.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, and Confluence.
Understanding of risk, control, and compliance environments within financial services. 
Package:

Initial 6 month contract
£500 p/day inside IR35
Hybrid (2x week in London)
