Cyber Security Engineer

Rate: Up to £650/day (Inside IR35)
Contract: 3 months initially
Location: Remote

We’re looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to help deliver the first phase of a security monitoring project. You’ll be onboarding critical services into the SOC and improving monitoring across the organisation.

What you’ll do:
Onboard and monitor critical services.
Manage and improve SIEM and SOAR platforms.
Build and maintain security playbooks.
Work with large enterprise environments (10,000+ users).
Use IaC to support secure deployments.

What we’re looking for:
2+ years’ experience with security platforms (SIEM, SOAR).
Hands-on with Cortex XDR, Cortex Data Lake, Cortex XSOAR.
Experience with XSIAM playbooks and correlation.
Knowledge of public sector standards.
Strong communication skills
