We are seeking an experienced OT (Operational Technology) Security Specialist to join our clients dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about cybersecurity in operational environments and looking to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct asset inventory discovery, management, and risk assessments for OT devices.

Support network architecture changes aligned with OT security program policy updates.

Drive plant initiatives, including project specifications, risk assessments, and policy adherence.

Implement protocols to ensure accurate OT device recognition and management, in line with established OT policies and guidelines.

Lead cyber-risk awareness and security policy training, enabling the business to maximise system usage while ensuring cybersecurity measures are in place to protect data integrity.

Perform third-party vendor risk assessments, critical patch implementation, and application whitelist testing.

Diagnose root causes of system failures and implement appropriate corrective actions.

Coordinate OT process and system change management, overseeing testing and approval of changes using an approved methodology.

Ensure all change requests follow the appropriate authorisation and documentation procedures.

Engage in ongoing educational and self-development activities to stay current with industry best practices.

Provide business and regulatory data reports using available Business Intelligence technologies to meet customer needs.

Collaborate with other business teams to ensure proper usage of systems.

About You:

A first-class or upper second-class honours degree in a relevant engineering discipline, or equivalent experience with HND/HNC qualifications.

Several years of experience in a related environment, preferably in medical device manufacturing or pharmaceuticals.

Familiarity with change control processes in a regulated medical device manufacturing environment.

Strong working knowledge of networking, software, and control systems.

Broad experience with enterprise IT systems, networking protocols, and hardware, with a keen interest in the OT environment and the intersection between IT and control systems engineering.

Proven experience with software and control systems in a similar environment.

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, network schematics (physical and logical), and floor plans.

Strong skills in processing and analysing large datasets to extract meaningful insights.

Knowledge of Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Omron PLC systems is advantageous but not essential.
