The Role

We are looking for an experiencedCyber Security Architect to join a growing security architecture team working across highly sensitive and technically complex transformation programmes.

You will work alongside technical and solution architects to define and deliver secure architectures across enterprise IT and operational technology environments. You'll also collaborate with information assurance and penetration testing teams to validate security controls and develop effective security solutions.

This is a client-facing role requiring strong technical judgement, stakeholder management and the ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Define security architectures for complex enterprise IT and operational technology environments.
• Work with technical and solution architects to embed security throughout the design and delivery lifecycle.
• Apply threat modelling techniques to identify threats and define appropriate security requirements.
• Provide specialist advice on security risks, threat-based mitigation and system design.
• Manage security requirements throughout the delivery and operational lifecycle.
• Apply recognised security frameworks and standards includingNIST, ISO and CIS.
• Advise on protective monitoring, authentication and authorisation best practice.
• Work closely with information assurance and penetration testing teams.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, technical teams and delivery partners.
• Communicate complex technical solutions clearly through documentation, presentations and stakeholder engagement.

Technical Experience

We are particularly interested in candidates with strong security experience in one or more of the following areas:

• IP networking and Operational Technology
• On-premises architecture and virtualisation
• Cloud platforms and containerisation
• Databases and LLM technologies
• Mobile technologies and application security
• Security architecture and secure-by-design principles
• Threat modelling, risk assessment and security requirements
• Security controls, protective monitoring and IAM

Previous experience working specifically as aSecurity Architect is desirable, but strong technical security specialists with clear architectural capability will also be considered.

Essential Security Requirements

• Active SC security clearance
• Sole British national / British passport holder with no dual nationality
