Cloud Support Engineer

London | Circa £40,000 - £45,000 | Office-based with occasional travel

Looking for a role where you can do more than just clear tickets?

We're working with a small, growing MSP that's looking for a Cloud Support Engineer to play a key role across client support, cloud infrastructure, networking and day-to-day service delivery.

You'll be working closely with experienced engineers and the Managing Director, supporting a variety of client environments across Microsoft cloud technologies, infrastructure and security. It's a hands-on role where you'll have the opportunity to improve systems, contribute ideas and make a genuine impact.

What you'll be doing
  • Supporting Microsoft 365 and cloud environments
  • Managing and troubleshooting networking and firewall issues
  • Supporting infrastructure, security and endpoint technologies
  • Acting as an escalation point for more complex technical issues
  • Helping improve processes, documentation and service delivery
  • Building strong relationships with clients and understanding their requirements
  • Assisting with the coordination of engineering activities and internal projects
What they're looking for
  • Previous MSP, helpdesk or IT support experience
  • Strong Microsoft 365 and Windows administration skills
  • Good understanding of cloud technologies and infrastructure
  • Experience with networking and firewalls (FortiGate would be ideal)
  • Knowledge of Conditional Access and SharePoint
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of issues

Experience with MDM platforms or Power BI would be beneficial but isn't essential.

Why apply?

This is a great opportunity to join a business where you'll have visibility, responsibility and the chance to broaden your technical skills across a wide range of technologies and client environments.

You'll be joining a collaborative team where your ideas are valued and where there's genuine scope to grow as the business continues to evolve.

Where to Advertise Cyber Security Jobs in the UK (2026 Guide)

Where to advertise cyber security jobs UK in 2026: the specialist boards, communities and channels that reach offensive, defensive and GRC security talent. The candidate pool is small, heavily vetted and in high demand across government, financial services, critical national infrastructure and the private sector simultaneously. Many of the strongest candidates hold active security clearances, are not actively job-searching through general platforms, and move primarily through specialist networks and trusted referrals. General job boards reach a broad audience but lack the specificity that security professionals expect. Specialist platforms, government-affiliated channels and cleared candidate networks each serve a different part of the market. This guide, published by CybersecurityJobs.tech, covers where to advertise cyber security roles in the UK in 2026, how the main platforms compare, what employers should expect to pay, and what the data says about hiring across different role types.
