Summary

The Cloud Security Architect is responsible for assisting Sales Representatives, Sales Engineers and Partners with the technical sales activities in net-new and upsell opportunities. 

The Varonis Cloud Security Architect will primarily support UK but may engage with teams in other global locations. He/she will position the business value of the DatAdvantage Cloud platform to technical and C-level executives. The goal will be to build a strong business justification to the customer, while ensuring growth in the adoption of the DatAdvantage Cloud product suite across the Varonis account teams. 

Responsibilities

Understand customer requirements and integrate DatAdvantage Cloud solutions into the customers’ environment.  Deliver sales presentations, present technical information about DatAdvantage Cloud products and services, and conduct product demonstrations.  Manage all phases of product evaluations including installations, presenting at seminars, responding to RFP’s and RFI’s and the technical development of Varonis Partners.  Create and provide product and business value enablement training for sales, SEs, and partners.  Ability to work independently and team collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.  Ability to articulate the importance of Cloud Security Analytics and Threat Detection and evangelize DatAdvantage Cloud as the leader in the market to end-users of all levels.  25%-50% travel. 

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a four-year College or Technical SchoolAND3-5 years of experience in a customer facing role OR equivalent combination or education and experience.  Strong written, oral, and presentation skills.  Ability to discuss highly technical concepts to all audiences, ranging from non-technical to executive level decision makers.  Extensive knowledge of one of the following domains: AWS, GSuite, Salesforce.  Exposure to administration of Cloud applications including: Box, GitHub, Okta, Zoom, Jira, Slack.  Exposure to security hardware and software.  Salesforce Certified Administrator, AWS Cloud Practitioner/Associate/Professional, and Google Cloud Security Professional are preferred.
